Photo of The Day #51 “Calling All Hippies at Sweet Dreams”
One of Mike Pell’s signs that I loved at Sweet Dreams Winery, was this one. It got my attention as soon as I walked up and met him. I used to be one of these folks, as my longtime friends well know and now that I am a retired business executive, posing as a travel and food blogger, I get to use the front door!
Again I want to thank Palestine Texas for hosting Kim and I and for showing us the “Pearl of the East Texas Piney Woods”! Psst. Please don’t tell my readers about my past! Y’all be kind to each other and have a great day. Peace!

I get to use the front door but, sometimes, I definitely prefer the side door! 😉
Ron,
I preferred the side door as a youth, but have grown more settled as I age, just like a fine wine! Thanks for stopping by!

No wonder you and I get along so well Mike — we are both hippies at heart! Of course that kind of goes hand-in-hand with being Austinites, no? 😉
DenverSecrets,
You will have to have me up, to do a blog on your restaurants!
Mike
Derek,
I was probably a “Hippy” long before you were even born! Ha! I did tell you my oldest son lives in Japan, right? He has studied the Japanese language going on two years and has the same issue. He thinks in Japanese now and has a hard time sometimes interpreting in English! Ha! Take care my friend!
